These plates are handcrafted from the Naturally fallen leaf of the Areca Palm tree. leaves are collected and washed with fresh water to remove dirt and dust. The leaves are then heat-pressed into the desired shapes and sizes. Finally, the plates are cleaned, sterilized, and packaged.

Yes, zero chemical or toxins agents are used to bind or coat the plates, unlike other eco-friendly plates. Best of all, they are 100% compostable, biodegradable, and sustainable.

Do palm leaf plates have any odor?

No. There is no odor or smell. However, when you open the package, you might get a naturally dried leafy smell but it goes away as soon as the plates are out of the package.

Yes, the brown spots on some plates are completely natural. These spots are not mold or dirt. All of our plates are thoroughly washed and steam-pressed to make sure they are free of dust, fungi, mold, pesticides, etc.

Please dispose of your palm leaf dishes in the regular trash. Palm leaf products will decompose normally in a landfill and much faster than plastic.
